ICK MACH WELLE! is a music project in which people with disabilities learn how to produce electronic music with various machines, synthesizers and music programs. With his debut performance at the Superbooth Festival 2019, the Brighton-based artist presented two stunning performances, providing a solo heavy dark modular Techno set at our C-Base party and this special performance which enlists drummer Scott Rowe to provide a dynamically charged and captivating performance. This is their live-set on the rainy Seaside Stage at SUPERBOOTH19.Īcclaimed electronic producer Matthew Hodson presents his exciting new project, MATTHS. Combining modular grains with analog soundwaves, they are creating abstract, but highly enjoyable pieces. Lucid Grain is more than a collaboration – it’s a fusion between the soundscapes of Martha Bahr and Anatol Locker. Another biographical landmark are the post-wall years when parts of Berlin became an area of unknown property and power relations, which made experiments possible, outside of commercial logics.

The vitas of Slurge’s members reach back to the times of Kluster/Cluster and the Zodiac Free Arts Lab – founded by Beuys’ student Conrad Schnitzler. The members are the ex-Ton Steine Scherben drummer Wolfgang Seidel, Carina Khorkhordina, Eric Bauer and Burkhard Beins. Slurge is a band project founded exclusively for SUPERBOOTH19. MODGEIST – aspiring improvising modular artist from France, who already inspired at last year’s SUPERBOOTH18. Here are some dubby modular sound explorations on our Seaside Stage with Kabuki´s Beat Excursions feat. Everything comes together in improvised performances on stage. Their interaction combines abstract electrical and extravagant-harmonic sounds with repetitive rhythms and driving basses. The duo from Berlin Kreuzberg pulls off a unique live electronic performance far beyond of just playing pre-produced tracks. He is part of Jens Friebe’s band and was a member of Berlin’s infamous punk band Golden Showers.
